The Body Shop Cyber Monday Haul

Chocomania Body ScrubGreetings Lobsters!

I wanted to share with you all the fun goodies I gobbled up on Cyber Monday from The Body Shop. They had a site-wide 50% off sale and I had a really fun time picking out products for both myself, family, and friends for Christmas.

I repurchased a couple Body Shop faves including the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner as well as the Seaweed Mattifying Moisture Lotion SPF 15. I love both of these products for when my skin is acting out. They are great for treating blemishes, as well as taming oil. I prefer the Seaweed Mattifying Moisture Lotion over the Seaweed Mattifying Day Cream I used to use because the Lotion is in a tube. The Day Cream comes in a pot, which requires you to continually dip your fingers in to retrieve product. A tube is way more hygienic (especially when you are dealing with oily skin).

The rest of my purchases are new to me, and I have already found some new faves:

Chocomania Body Scrub smells absolutely delicious. The chocolatey scent fills the shower during use, but doesn’t remain on the skin after. I like that the sugar crystals aren’t too rough – just the right amount of exfoliation. There is somewhat of an oil residue left over (common with sugar/salt scrubs) which I like. It almost puts the moisture back into the skin. I love using this product on legs, arms, elbows and feet.

Spa Wisdom Japan Apricot & Rice Finishing Mist is great for after the shower or tub. The light, refreshing scent isn’t overpowering like a perfume or body spray. It smells clean and airy, like a day at the spa.  It also contains ingredients that benefit and nourish the skin too, like Argan oil. I would definitely purchase more products from this line.

Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream is a thicker lotion meant to replenish skin while you sleep. I was using the Aloe Soothing Night Cream from The Body Shop and switched to this to try something different. I haven’t noticed a huge change in my skin since the switch. I just like using a thicker moisturizer at night because it leaves my skin feeling really healthy in the morning. Night creams are especially helpful during winter months when you are exposing your face both to cold weather and dry heat.

In addition to these products I grabbed some stocking stuffers and Christmas gifts. The Body Shop has a dedicated stocking stuffer section on their website, as well as gifts organized by price range. Check it out!
