Guest Post: L’Oreal’s Colour Riche Caresse Aqua Lacquer Lipgloss Review

Loreal Colour Riche Caresse Aqua Lacquer Lipgloss Coral TattooI am SUPER fussy about what I put on my lips and reluctant to try any products that hang on a rack or are mass produced with synthetics. BUT I have to say, I’m more than pleased and impressed with L’Oreal’s Colour Riche Caresse Aqua Lacquer Lipgloss (other than the ridiculously long name). The applicator sponge is nicely tapered to allow for more precise application and so far the product isn’t glopping or squirting out when you replace the cap.

The container is small and sleek. The feel is light and smooth yet has great coverage. And the color REALLY does stay on all day. After about 30 minutes it does feel dry so I applied a lip balm on top. NO color came off on the lip balm … it stayed put. Love that! I also like that there is no taste or smell to the product. If you are looking for shine, however, I don’t find it glossy or shiny. But I am sold on this for staying power, ease and true color.

Best of all – the price. I got mine at Walgreen’s and used a $1.00 off coupon (Sunday’s Oregonian) for a total cost of $8.99. Ulta sells it for $9.99. Lots of color choices. I picked Coral Tattoo and it’s perfect. Click here to read product details and view colors. PS: Note to L’Oreal – rethink the name.
